Offer and Pricing
Offer and pricing is the system that decides what you sell, to whom, in what package and at what price. Lead Miles rebuilds it around what buyers weigh before saying yes: the size of the outcome, how certain they feel about getting it, how quickly it arrives and how much effort it asks of them. A better offer raises conversion and price together, so every other growth system works harder.
An offer customers find easy to say yes to, priced for the value it delivers rather than the cost to make it.
Why it matters
Many businesses try to fix growth with more leads when the real problem is the offer. If customers compare you on price, the offer has not given them a reason not to. A strong offer makes marketing cheaper, sales cycles shorter and discounts unnecessary. It is often the fastest lever an established business has, because it changes revenue without adding headcount.
Signs this is your constraint
- Customers compare you line by line with cheaper competitors.
- Discounts are needed to close most deals or move stock.
- Prices were last set years ago, usually as cost plus a margin.
- The range keeps growing, but most profit comes from a few products.
- Salespeople explain features because the outcome is not obvious.
What we build
Customer outcome map
What your best customers are really buying, the result they want and what stops them from buying sooner.
Offer architecture
Entry, core and premium offers with clear upgrade paths, bundles and what is deliberately left out.
Value-based price ladder
Price points set against the value delivered and the real alternatives, with margin floors by product and channel.
Risk reversal and terms
Guarantees, trials or milestone terms that make the decision easier for the buyer without hurting margin.
Discount and approval policy
Who can discount, by how much, and what the customer gives in return.
Range rationalisation
Which products or services to grow, reprice, bundle or retire, decided on contribution margin.
What we measure
| Measure | Definition |
|---|---|
| Contribution margin by offer | Revenue minus all variable costs for each product, package or service line. |
| Average order or deal value | Average value per transaction or contract, tracked by channel and segment. |
| Discount depth | Average discount against list price, and the share of deals that were discounted. |
| Offer conversion rate | Share of qualified prospects who buy each offer. |
| Upgrade rate | Share of customers who move from entry offers to core or premium ones. |
Questions we ask in the diagnostic
- Which customers would pay more today, and why have you not asked them?
- Why does your best customer choose you over the cheaper option?
- Which fifth of your range produces most of your contribution margin?
- When did you last raise prices, and what actually happened?
At ₹100 Cr and above
At ₹100 Cr and above, pricing is usually spread across many products, channels, regions and distributor tiers, each with its own exceptions. A small improvement in realised price often moves profit more than a new marketing channel. We trace price from list to cash collected, find where margin leaks through discounts, schemes and payment terms, and build a pricing governance process that holds.
Most often the constraint at: Stage 1, Founder-led (Up to ₹6 Cr a year); Stage 3, Scaling (₹25 Cr to ₹100 Cr a year).

Frequently asked questions
Will raising prices hurt our volume?
Not if the offer changes with the price. We test new prices and packages with defined segments first, measure conversion and margin together, and roll out only what improves contribution.
We sell through distributors. Does offer design still apply?
Yes. Offer design covers trade terms, schemes and channel margins as well as the end-customer offer, because that is where much of the margin is decided.
